Experience
I was a student who had struggled throughout my own educational career. I enjoyed my classes, but I was never sure why everything seemed difficult. The more I learned and was exposed to, the more I realized it was because much of the material I was learning was taught the same way. I was able to learn different techniques, and consequentially, I succeeded in my future endeavors. As a tutor, I wish to help students grow in a similar manner.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Arithmetic, Geography, Math, English, Study Skills, and Social Studies. I also offer test prep in the SSAT and GED.I graduated from Florida Memorial University, as well as from the University of South Florida. When I'm not working with students, I love to read and write, and especially love to write poetry. I also enjoy many different types of puzzles, such as scrabble and board games.
